Instructions

Here are the steps to purchase (add) and print tags if you have the required hunting license(s).

• Before hunting deer or turkey, hunters must purchase (add) their tags for the new season. If you need to reprint already claimed your tags, click HERE.

1. Go to LouisianaOutdoors.com.
2. Click Get Tags on the Tags cards.
3. Click the first option that says If you already have your license and just need to claim your tags for this hunting season then Click Here.
4. Locate your account using your SSN, LDWF number, or Driver's License number.
5. You may be asked to update or verify your account information. Click Next or Submit.
6. Answer the Louisiana residency question and disclaimer.
7. Select the Tags category either on the left menu, or on mobile devices, in the dropdown menu at the top.
8. Press the green shopping cart button next to Deer and/or Turkey tags for $0 to add it to your cart.
   • The green shopping cart button will turn into a green minus button when the item is in your cart.
9. Next, Click the Checkout button under the total amount.
10. Scroll down the Checkout page and make a selection for donation to Hunters for the Hungry.
    • Either Not Now or a dollar amount
11. Make a selection for donation to the Disabled Veterans License Fund.
    • Either Not Now or a dollar amount
12. Scroll down the Checkout page and click Continue.
    • If you selected a dollar amount for the donation, you will be asked to enter your card information.
13. The next page will confirm the purchase of your tags. Click View License(s) in Browser to view your tags.  
    • The first page will be a license and the second page will have your actual tags.
14. From here you can print your tags or take a picture of them on your mobile device.
