You must validate your tags within 72 hours of harvesting a deer or turkey. 

Note: We can still validate tags after the 72 hour period but it's suppose to be done before then. Also, you cannot select the harvest date for a tag before the date the tags were added to a customer's account.

To correct a reported or validated deer or turkey tag, call LDWF HQ at (225) 765-2800, select option 0, and ask for a supervisor.
