- You must present a valid active duty military ID card when you purchase your license
- AND have your military ID or dependent card and appropriate license(s) in your possession at all times while hunting or fishing.
Active-duty military licenses are valid only while you are on active duty. In addition, active-duty members and/or their spouse and dependents may receive a credit toward individual income tax liability for obtaining a Louisiana hunting or recreational fishing license.
