- Commercial licenses expire December 31st each year, unless otherwise noted.
NOTE: To obtain a duplicate license, complete the form and have it notarized, or present proper ID if applying in person. The $5.00 fee must be paid by money order, cashier’s check, or cash (in person). Checks and money orders should be made payable to LA Dept. of Wildlife and Fisheries.
You can buy a duplicate commercial license at LDWF Headquarters, 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. You can also download and submit the application by mail. Access the required application HERE.

- A duplicate commercial license cannot be purchased online.
You must provide proof of residency for your domiciliary state. If you’re applying for a license in a business name, you must provide documentation of a valid federal tax ID number assigned to your business name and authorized signature OR an occupational license.
