- No, neither can be used for bear bait. The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry regulates sweet potatoes. They have a regulation to prevent the spread of sweet potato weevils, so you cannot bait with them.
- Chocolate is toxic to most animals. It can be fatal to squirrels, deer, foxes, dogs, raccoons, and most other animals, wild & domestic.
- Will baiting be allowed for the WMA hunts?
- Baiting will be allowed on the WMA. Specifics of how and what can be used will be provided to the successful applicant.
- How much is the permit if you get drawn?
- No charge for the permit.
- Is a bear license included with my Lifetime License?
- No, a bear license is additional and is not included in any combination license, such as the lifetime, senior, or sportsman license.
- Is a bear license included in the Disabled Veterans license?
The bear license is a stand-alone license and is not included in any of our other licenses.
