Purchasing License(s)
You can purchase your recreational licenses through any of the following options:
- Online: Visit LouisianaOutdoors.com. Please click HERE for more information on how to find your LDWF account.
- In-Person: Stop by the LDWF Headquarters located at 2000 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, LA.
- Local Retailers: Many local retailers across the state sell hunting licenses.
What to Expect with Online Purchases
- If you purchase your license online, please note:
- You will NOT receive a physical license in the mail unless you purchase a (0300) Hard Card License.
- Instead, you will receive:
- An email with the temporary authorization number and a PDF of your licenses. You can print the PDF or save it to the electronic device you plan to take fishing.
- LA Wallet App: Louisiana residents with a valid Louisiana driver’s license or ID card can use the LA Wallet app to display their purchased LDWF licenses on their smartphone.

Log in to Your Account
Start by logging into your account on LouisianaOutdoors.com. -
Navigate to Licenses and Permits
Click the View/Manage All button located in the Licenses and Permits card on your dashboard. -
View and Download Licenses
- From this page, you can view all your licenses, both active and inactive.
- To download a specific license, click the Download License icon next to it.
