Boat registrations can be renewed up to 60 days before expiration. The expiration date is on your registration certificate. To renew your boat registration, visit LouisianaOutdoors.com and select Boat Registration under Renewals & Applications.

If your boat registration has been expired for more than 60 days, it likely has been canceled and you’ll need to reregister which currently cannot be completed online. You will need register in person at the LDWF Headquarters office in Baton Rouge or by mail.

If you don't receive your certificate and decals within 30 days of applying or renewing, contact LDWF HQ at (225)765-2887 or (225)765-2898, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm (excluding federal/state holidays).
